Certain upgraded warranty plans are transferable if the property is sold within 10 years from the original purchase date, providing extended coverage for the new homeowner for a period of up to 50 years.

WinChoice warrants to the original purchaser that any window or door manufactured by WinChoice is free of manufacturing and material defects. This warranty applies to the “Renew”/Executive and “Refine”/Elite series windows for as long as the purchaser resides in the home where the windows or doors were originally installed. The “Replenish”/Economy series includes a one-year warranty on materials and labor.
This warranty covers only manufacturing and material defects and does not include damage caused by misuse, abuse, improper installation, normal weathering, accidents, fire, flood, Acts of God, vandalism, structural movement, chemical exposure, or other causes beyond WinChoice’s control.
Vinyl Frames: Will not materially rot, rust, crack, warp, pit, corrode, peel, or blister for as long as the original purchaser resides in the home in which windows or doors were installed.
Parts and Hardware: Will not break, crack, or otherwise fail due to manufacturing defects for as long as the original purchaser resides in the home.
Screen: Frame will not crack or break, and screen cloth will not rot for as long as the original purchaser resides in the home.
Insulated Glass: Will not experience seal failure or material obstruction within the insulated airspace for as long as the original purchaser resides in the home.
Glass Breakage: Glass breakage is covered for the lifetime of the original homeowner while residing at the original installation address under the WinChoice protection plan, subject to applicable exclusions and warranty terms.
Wood: Wood used in WinChoice’s construction of bow and bay units is covered only for manufacturing defects within 18 months of the date of manufacture and must meet installation requirements for coverage eligibility.
Labor Costs: Labor costs for warranty-covered repairs are included.
Caulking: Caulking is not part of the window product and is not covered under this warranty.
Condensation: Condensation or frost on interior glass surfaces does not indicate a defect and is not covered under this warranty.
Discontinuance: WinChoice reserves the right to discontinue or modify products or components and substitute equivalent parts when necessary.
Exercise of Warranty: The original purchaser must notify the dealer or distributor from whom the windows were purchased with any warranty claim. Upon approval, qualifying replacement parts will be shipped by WinChoice at no expense to the customer. Proof of purchase is required.
